Overall I have very little to complain about.Īs another user mentioned there is a lot of diversity in Frisco. Traffic on Preston can be pretty rough during rush hour, and they ARE building new apartments everywhere! This could be ok if the rent rates stay below $1,000 a month. Costco is close by, plenty of good BBQ spots (Hutchins, hard 8) Small business centers are every where which make things convienent. Stonebriar mall - typical mall, nothing special. A small roller hockey rink and basketball court are nearby.ĭr Pepper Arena - Dallas Stars practice facility, I skated on this ice about 5 times now, pretty decent. (I work in Dallas)įrisco commons park - beautiful park to walk (and play pokemongo) small pond to fish in. And if you are one of the few Americans that care about soccer, there FC Dallas.Īfter reading the comments in the thread I’ll throw my two cents in, as someone who just moved her February I’ve done a little exploring the city. There is the Frisco Rough Ridgers (AA baseball) and Texas Legends (NBA G league) are completely based in Frisco. Four professional sports teams call Frisco home, The Dallas Stars and Dallas Cowboys have their facilities here although they play elsewhere. We've got loads of schools even a college campus. Good? Nearly every type of store you could want, minus a computer/electronics stores like frys or microcenter. Frisco never joined the DART system, so there is no public transport. Instead of building freeways we have three over crowded state highways full of traffic lights and two tollways that costs are far from cheap to drive on daily. Preston Road is down right awful from sun up to sun down. What sucks? The place F'ing blew up population wise, and they keep building more and more houses. I've lived in Frisco since 1999, and prior to that moved to The Colony as a child in 1991.
